I’ve been using Medi-Prompt for several years now and I love it! I tried several others before discovering this one and none offered the capabilities of this one. I have a couple chronic conditions necessitating quite a number of medications on a regular basis as well as frequent rounds of short terms meds. This handles them all and reminds me when it’s time to take them. There’s a lot of flexibility built in and customer service is great. Definitely the app for medication tracking.

Can’t believe I actually purchased this app. Tried to input data and in their message section to users, each time there would be two messages (from a previous med I tried to add)overlaid on top of each other so it’s illegible. So frustrating not being able to read anything, I refuse to keep exiting and re-opening the app only to find that it had the same problem. SAVE YOUR MONEY; this app is a waste of time. Medisafe worked like a dream in comparison to this mess.

I’m a registered nurse and have worked with medication management for many years. I have a couple of prescription meds I take now, and I also like to track over the counter Meds I take. It is important to tell your doctor or nurse what you’re taking and when. It helps to have a reminder and this app is an excellent choice for reminding, tracking, and letting you know if you might be taking too much (among many other features). Look into this app, it is the best one I could find and I tried plenty.

Really like the app once I finally got the hang of it. It really took some patience magnifying glass to read all the help screens, font is way to tiny. Lots of choices in ways to enter your medicine. After finding out that the person who wrote the app is now retiring. Also it will cost now. Besides all that it took a long time to finally get the app corrected. So now I am saying that I’m frustrated.

I have been using Medi-Prompt for 2-3 years because I take a variety of meds for allergies. It’s easy to use and reassuring that the right amount of drugs are being used. The latest version has had helpful improvements that has enhanced the app. The app comes with a section containing answers to FAQ’s. If this FAQ section doesn’t answer and you still need help customer service is always ready to help.

Have used this app for at least two years. There is really nothing comparable. Flexible enough for anyone’s med schedule but very easy to use. I highly recommend it!

I was waiting for an update to push this to a Five Start APP. It is now THE App for keeping track of meds. I won't be looking back.

I love my Medical-Prompt app and have used it for several years. It is the best app I have found to help me keep track of the medicines I take on an "as-needed" (PRN) basis. I recommend it for anyone and set it up for my mother and aunt to use as well as my teenage children. As they gain independence it has helped them track items as simple as Tylenol or as complex as narcotics after surgery. I appreciate is as I don't have to remember when I took my last dose or if it is too soon to take the next. My pain Doctor always asks when my last dose of several meds was and all I have to do is open the app and show them the log. I LOVE IT and highly recommend it to anyone looking to track their medications.

This app really keeps me on track and compliant with treatments. The bigger impact has been with the exportable logs - it has made all the difference in my patient-physician relationships. It has allowed me to describe usage patterns clearly and demonstrate responsibility and accountability in this age of overuse and abuse. Establishing effective communication and trust is critical when advocating for your own healthcare and no one else will do it for you. Medi-Prompt puts that information in my control and, most importantly, the information stays ON MY DEVICE. Although there are times that it would be useful to sync this across multiple devices, we *need* to have the option to protect our privacy and I’m thankful I have the choice.

I'm one of those men who forgets taking his meds. This App works great! Plus, I don't have to hear the wife, did you take your meds? 😊

Worked so well, before IOS 10.2.1 update. Since then it frequently fails to save the last dose, defeating the entire purpose. I used DoseMinder successfully for years, but no update was ever written for it. UPDATE: the reminder sound has also stopped working. It sometimes "sounds" randomly, under no particular condition - App open, App closed, etc. so I'm back here shopping for yet another app.

The design of this app is great and very well implemented. The support is prompt when questions are asked.

The app is not bad albeit a bit cumbersome to set up - fair enough I finally got it working but the only notifications I get are the faint system sound a banner makes . Impossible to use overnight as it's too easy to sleep through it. Without being able to use actual IOS alarm ring tones this app is useless.

It works

I needed to track five medications for pain and diet post surgery, each with different constraints on when and how they could be taken. This was a very useful tool and as compared to the hospital bills was well worth the few dollars to keep track of everything.

As has been noted by others, the interface is not the prettiest, but that is more than made up for by the flexibility and power of this app. Any type of med schedule I can think of, including PRN (as needed) can be accommodated. The minimum times and overdose warnings are great. And details about dosing such as "each tablet is 500mg, and I take two at each dose" are handled beautifully. Fantastic app.

This application made tracking medications after my surgery effortless! Get it!

This app is perfect if you have to keep track of multiple meds, oddly scheduled meds or just meds that are taken as needed. There are so many options available for scheduling that any med in any dosage schedule can be entered, even those that are only taken on certain days of the week. This app is well worth the price paid!!

My husband has a terminal condition and this app has been a life saver keeping track of the many meds that he is on. It is very flexible to track even overdose warnings (e.g. at least 4 hours in between doses). There are some improvements needed that could make this app even better. It would be great if this app allows login account where you can log in and track meds for a single person from multiple devices and allows meds to be entered on a computer. Also would be helpful to have apple watch app where it would remind you to take the meds.

I'm tracking 12 meds for my wife who is gravely ill. I've tried other apps as well as pen and paper. Other apps may have a "prettier" display and simpler user interface but simplicity doesn't do the job. Inputting med data for the first time was a bit challenging but the many available options provide the flexibility needed to track properly. Once the med data is in, using the app is very easy - much appreciated when giving meds at 3am. I especially like the the fact that the app automatically adjusts future scheduled doses on "every 4 hour" meds that have to be delayed for various reasons such as waiting on a nausea episode to clear. Give yourself a couple of days to get used to this app and you will love it as I do.

Before I got Medi-Promt I didn't realize how often I was forgetting to take my medications. The app is perfect for keeping me on track! The logs are great for tracking how often I am taking as-needed medications.

This app does exactly what it's supposed to do, and does it really well--it won't let me forget a med! Effective reminders, cross-checks, good & easy data entry for setup and by dose. Am very pleased & highly recommend.

Easy format. Reminder tones different then phone tones

You need a degree to work this thing , waste of money because it doesn't remind you when to take your pills

Never wrote a review but for this making an exception. I had ankle surgery and came home with 11 meds to take. I would have NEVER been able to manage without this gem of an app. Takes a minute to setup but so worth it. On top or the reminders, it also is a log for everything you've taken. I had an allergic reaction to one of my meds and went back to the hospital on day 3. This came with me and helped them figure out what it was. I love this app. Period.

I have tried many methods to help me know what drugs I take, when I'm suppose to take them and making sure the doctors know properly. I found Medi-Prompt 2 years ago and it helped me. I continue to learn how it helps me better.

Great app and exactly what I'm looking for! The app really needs a new design, though.

I've found this app to be incredibly helpful. My meds are somewhat complicated following a transplant and this helps me keep on top of everything. Don't like the push notice reminders but I'm able to turn those off. App works well for me.

Love it Wish you could enter responses from the prompt window instead of having to open app/close current window -- but otherwise great.

I tried to fill-in the blank sign some of my meds which rearranged my list and I cannot get it back the way it was or fix it

I have used a lot of different medication tracking apps, and this is by far the best. Not only does it have options that others don't like emailing and purging logs, courses for antibiotics, and lots of reminder options including none which I like. Also, customers don't just have customer service. They are encouraged to use it and get quick response. I've only had one question over the years, but I got a quick response. And the maker is constantly improving the product.

I should have paid more attention to the one negative review complaining about how complicated this is. This is so convoluted, I suspect the positive reviews were written by the developers. I not only would like a refund, but I would like compensated for the time I wasted on this.

I purchased this app so I could track the 11 meds that I am on after my broken leg. It alerts me when it is time to take my pills and warns me if it thinks I am taking it too soon. Even though there are free apps that do the same thing, my health is invaluable to me and the small price for this app is well worth my piece of mind

Given the good reviews I expected ease of use and simplicity, but didn't get either. Just trying to set up a single prescription pill to be taken at 7am daily seemed way over-complicated. User interface glitchy on my iPhone 6 - lots of bad animations and occasionally overlapping text. Deleted within 10 minutes in favor of a couple other (free) apps with more intuitive design. This was money wasted unfortunately.

Great app! Easy to use and I loved the reminders so I remembered if I had taken my medicine or not.

I have a complicated schedule of a few medications and Medi-Prompt handles them all with ease. This includes two different transdermal patches that are worn for 72 hours each but start on different days i.e. Patch A is applied on Monday, Thursday, Sunday, etc., and Patch B is applied on Tuesday, Friday, Monday, etc. Medi-Prompt handles this without a hitch.

I like this app now that the check it screen has been removed. You need to stop trying to improve an already working program in other words stop tweaking this app. I like how you can down load your history and give to your health care provider it's a great way to help your doctor see which meds are working and along with regular blood work tells if meds need changing.

My use of this app the past year plus has exceeded my expectations. Has never failed to remind me of the time to take my meds. The updates and response from the management is timely and easy to understand. Recommend this app to anyone who takes meds. I even use it for my dog who has epilepsy.

Really helps keep multiple mess straight.

It works great, the new enhancements really let me be in control of my medicine regimen. My only complaint is that the tone either do not work or are so low that I am unable to hear them on my iPad mini even though I have the volume set to maximum. Still with that being said it is an invaluable tool in helping me stay on my regimen on time every day.

It took a long time and money downloading other pill apps before I found this one, an app that is the best at what it's designed to do. The developer answers queries promptly, too. I was so surprised. I wish that I had found Medi-Prompt sooner.

I have been using Medi-Prompt daily since it first came out. I compared it to the other med tracking apps and find Medi-Prompt to be the best by far for keeping track of my meds. It is feature rich and supremely useful in so many ways. For instance, I take it with me to doc visits, ER/hospital visits, etc. More than just allowing me to keep a daily record of meds taken, I can show my healthcare providers an accurate and complete history of each drug's usage. I use the notes section to record such things as side effects experienced, reasons why I was prescribed a specific medication, and other details. The app makes it easy to recall start-stop dates for any med. It lets me know if I've missed a dose and warns me if I'm about to take a med too soon. Color-coding is very useful (eg. blue=respiratory meds, yellow=urinary tract meds, red=pain meds, orange=GI meds, etc.) The log feature is invaluable for sharing with docs, tracking the course of an illness for which meds (e.g. antibiotics) were prescribed, and much more. I find, for me, in most cases "ad hoc" entries are easiest to manage. However, the "timed doses", "regular intervals", and other options are equally useful depending on circumstances. Everything is covered in this app! I recommend it to friends, show it to providers and pharmacists (they all love it), and I can't say enough about what a positive difference Medi-Prompt has made for me (and my family) in med management. Safety, accuracy, record-keeping, the prompting feature, all my meds (and events, but that's another use I've come up with) listed in one place - it's all here and more at my fingertips. P.S. I have to add that the updates just make this app better and that response to questions and suggestions from Medi-Prompt support is fast and thorough. Thank you! About Version 2.6 - Medi-Prompt is the best I've seen. I and my family continue to use it daily. It has been most helpful not only for maintaining a daily log for multiple medications but also for better communication with our doctors and other healthcare providers.

I bought this app because my old one crashed. I take a lot of meds and vitamins. The app is very easy to use and understand. I'm an old person with a limited tech knowledge. I was able to entered my meds and vitamins and have the reminders within hours. The big plus for me is the color coding and the at-a-glance view. I can see what's up next easy. Medi-Prompt Support was quick and very helpful in answering all my questions. I'm satisfied that's why this app gets a 5* from me!
